At Japanese restaurant Ume you can enjoy all our dishes unlimited and at a fixed price. You will find us in the monumental, former post office at the Kloosterwandplein in the centre of town.
Japanese restaurant Ume works according to the popular all-you-can-eat formula. Which allows our guests to as eat as much as they like, for a fixed price We offer a wide assortment like sushi, yakitori, tempura fried noodles or rice and many other delicious and freshly made cold or hot dishes. Our little guests can also choose French fries, 'kroket' or 'frikandel'. To accompany our dishes you may choose from saké, (japanese) beer, (japanese) tea or an excellent glass of wine (all drinks will be charged seperately).
You can enjoy all these dishes and drinks in a relaxed and one-of-a-kind atmosphere wih a view towards the lively Kloosterwandplein(square). Our unique building, which has been declared a Dutch national monument, has been designed by the locally born and renowned architect Pierre Cuypers, perhaps better known for designing a.o. the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
There's no need to worry about your car; the parking garage 'De Oranjerie', is only a 1 to 2 minute walk from our restaurant.
